May 10, 2012 - Arpin International Group Boston Promotes Jessica Cavallaro to International Manager

Jessica Cavallaro has been promoted to international manager of Arpin International Group’s Boston office.

May 09, 2012 - Truckers Strike at Port Klang, Malaysia

Arpin Group has been advised that the strike by container haulage drivers at Port Klang, the main import and export gateway by sea into Malaysia, is continuing with no immediate end in sight. The strike has resulted in a backlog of containers at the port. In addition, the movement is beginning to take hold in other areas of the country with a protest/strike by drivers at the Port of Pasir Gudang, Johor, scheduled for May 11, 2012.

Arpin Group President and CEO, David Arpin, joined by his brother and Executive Vice President, Peter Arpin, dedicated the company’s new global headquarters to the late Paul Arpin, Sr. in a special ribbon-cutting event.

A new plaque displays a picture of Paul Arpin, Sr. (1925 - 2010) and a quote, “May the work I've done speak for me.”

January 19, 2012 - Cathy Heuckel Transferred to Arpin Germany to Serve as Liaison, Relocation Coordinator

Arpin International Group has transferred Cathy Hueckel from its headquarters in East Greenwich, R.I., to Ginsheim Gustavsburg, Germany, to act as liaison and continue in her role as relocation coordinator.

December 13, 2011 - Arpin Renewable Energy Mentors Brown University Students to Shape Future of Transportation Industry

Arpin Renewable Energy has formed a partnership with Brown University’s entrepreneurship program to expand the use of solar energy in the transportation industry.

December 02, 2011 - Arpin International Group Officers Receive AMSA RIM Certifications

Arpin International Group announced today that four of its officers, Bob Sullivan, Chris Hood, Mark Greene and Silvia Louro have each received a Registered International Mover® (RIM) certification from the American Moving & Storage Association (AMSA). The Arpin International Group U.S. office holds its own RIM certification.

November 30, 2011 - Arpin International Group Sponsors Arctic Cup Ice Hockey Tournament

Arpin International Group announced today that it is sponsoring the Arctic Cup, an international ice hockey tournament of Arctic countries, which will be held December 8-10, 2011, in Saint Petersburg, Russia. The goal of the tournament is to draw attention to the preservation of natural resources in the Arctic.

Arpin International Group Vice Presidents, Bob Sullivan and Mark Dearborn, will be playing in the tournament representing the United States.

October 10, 2011 - Arpin International Movers of Ireland Expands,  Changes Name

Arpin International Movers of Ireland has moved its offices to a larger facility to accommodate a surge in business which required an increase in personnel and space.

“We have had a very successful start to our third year in Ireland, with business doubling for the key relocation months of June, July and August, from the same period in 2010,” said Dee Hulse, managing director of Arpin International Movers of Ireland.
